Austria-Hungary

Austria-Hungary is a transformation. Control every city it requires, including cities you only occupy during a war, then form it from the formable panel. Each formable can be formed once per server. Since 22 December 2025 the player who formed one can transform back; it is not documented whether that frees the formable for someone else.

Play on the Europe map and control every required city. Countries recorded as able to form it: Austria, Hungary.

The former list is short. Occupied cities count toward the requirement, but they will not spawn units until you annex them. The medal shop lists this formable at 40 medals before it can be formed. Progress percentages have been described as counting Austria-Hungaria twice, so this name and the progress counter are not the same tally.
